We are going to wait until the weekend to visit the house. Drew, our project manager, said that our siding would begin to be installed on Thursday and most likely be completed before our visit. However, the siding team is apparently quick on their feet. Check it out:
It is going up so quickly!!!! |
We also gave a call to our settlement company. We wanted to make sure about some curious information that we learned. First, we are trying to complete all of the items that we need to before closing. One of the tasks is to contact the Home Owners' Association and get the ball rolling on fees and services. The settlement company included contact information for an HOA. We called this number and it was an HOA just not our HOA. They said they had no affiliation with our neighborhood.
So, we contacted the settlement company and they said that they would find out who our actual HOA will be. Very interesting indeed!
Up next - Our visit and taking a look at our new siding!
Any ole HOA will do, no? LoL. That's funny. :)
ReplyDeleteI guess that seems to be the case! Maybe I can give your HOA a call. It should be just as good, right?!?
DeleteEverything seems to be coming along quickly! Hopefully NVR (or whomever you're using for settlement services) gets their act together.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too! No, it is not NVR, but it is another branch of Ryan Homes. The people are really nice, but the lack of communication between each of the bodies of Ryan Homes is shocking!
DeleteHello, Bryan and Angela! How's your countdown to your Venice home? I'm sure that you're so excited to finally move in there. The roof, sidings, and the windows were installed. And I assume that, by now, your house is almost fully furnished. I'm also excited for your family. I've been in that situation before, so I know how happy you are with your new house.
ReplyDeleteThe siding team is indeed quick, Bryan. Your new place looks good and I can't wait until it's finished! Seeing your house being built with your own eyes is a thrilling experience. But remember to regularly check your house especially the exteriors since they are the shield of your house against the bad weather. Doing this will prolong the lifespan of your roof and siding.
