And the Countdown Continues....

June 9 - We have just a little time until our closing date.  While every day seems to take longer and longer, it is a blessing in disguise.  We have been able to get everything packed, rent the U-Haul, and take some time to really assess what type of help we may need.  Better than an on-the-fly type of move.  Also, we know that many of our blogger friends have used movers and good on you for doing so.  However, Bryan could really use any physical activity.  So, it will be a good thing for him to really get behind some moving boxes.

These cats may have the right idea.
We have still avoided visiting the house.  It will not be too much longer until we are in our new home, but it seems like forever anyway.  It is just waiting there for us saying "Come home, family...come home."  Wow!  Now that we just wrote that it makes it sound really creepy.  We do not believe our house talks to us.  Then, again...maybe Pee Wee had something there.

The word of the day is "closing" when you hear "closing" we all yell.  Ready?  We will be closing soon!  Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!
Now, shall we commence with the countdown already?  Why are we dragging this out so much anyway?

Previously, on Lost: The Extreme Home Edition we discussed our excitement for:

                   30.  The Garage
                   29.  The Community
                   28.  A Backyard
                   27.  Family Space
                   26.  The Soaking Tub
                   25.  The Kitchen Cabinets
                   24.  The Outdoor Carriage Lights
                   23.  The Master Closet
                   22.  The Dishwasher
                   21.  The Landing Window
                   20.  The Laundry Room
                   19.  New Carpet
                   18.  The Mudroom
                   17.  Our Landscaping and Trees

And now, without further adieu, in order for you to see the next parts of the countdown you must do the:

Truffle Shuffle!

Here we go with the newest edition of our

The reading room.  This will be Angela's area where she will devote all of her time to venturing into the realm of Harry Potter or into the world of Dickens.  She is a reader if ever there was one.  She can get lost in novels and read entire books in a day.  Bryan has told her that he will steer clear of the reading room as long as she has this in hanging on the wall.

Butterflies in the sky, I can go twice as high....

Our neighborhood playground.  Our children are going to love being within walking distance of this cool little spot with swings, slides, monkey bars, and a sandbox.  We parents are going to love the park quality with all of the trees and the adjacent multipurpose field.  It will be a good place to relax and take in the day and it is not even a block from our house!  We can just see our kids making new friends at the park when all of our neighbors join the neighborhood.  We also can't wait until we get a call that our kid has talked another kid into doing this:

The old triple dog dare gets you every time.
Well, that's it for now.  All good things must come to a temporary end before picking up and continuing the next day.  We have 14 more to go in our countdown!!  So, until next time:

Don't ask why we are so hooked on Christmas movie references in June.  That is our business.....

Up Next: The Countdown Continues as we move closer to the closing date.
